Nvidia GeForce NOW is a cloud gaming service. At the beginning of this year, they expanded their services to Android Auto in new Hyundai cars.

Apart from this, South Korean cars, Genesis and KIA, as well as BYD from China and Polestar, are also vehicles that can enjoy Nvidia GeForce NOW.

Many of the latest cars already use Android Auto. This makes it easier for users to access cell phone applications connected directly to the car.

tafansa.id quotes 9to5 Google; for safety reasons, the driver can only play Nvidia GeForce NOW when the car is stopped.

Meanwhile, passengers can access these games while the car is running. Please note the passenger seat already has a "head monitor" connected to Android Auto.

"The service will start arriving at the end of 2023. These 1,500 games can be played for free," they said.

Meanwhile, this game can relieve boredom for electric cars while charging at a charging station.

Apart from accessing games, users can connect to the map feature and play music via Android Auto.

Previously, on September 20 2022, chip giant Nvidia Corp launched its newest computing platform, namely DRIVE Thor. The platform will centralize autonomous driving and assistance as well as other digital functions, such as in-car entertainment.

This was done by Nvidia, a giant game chip and artificial intelligence (AI) company, as a major breakthrough in the automotive business. This will also support key growth in the company.

"DRIVE Thor can replace many of the chips and cables in a car and lower overall system costs," said Danny Shapiro, head of Nvidia's automotive business, as quoted by Reuters.

However, there are no definite figures regarding the savings that Danny means. He also added.

"Tremendous savings in terms of costs, reduced wiring, reduced weight and reduced overall energy consumption."

Several car makers have also done this by starting to design their own chips. So they can make savings and have more control.

Meanwhile, General Motors's Cruise Autonomous Driving Unit has developed a chip to be used in 2025.

China's Geely's ZEEKR is Nvidia's first user of DRIVE Thor. Meanwhile, Danny said his computer system (DRIVE Orin) will be used in China's new intelligent SUVs, XPeng and QCraft.
